deconstructing CONTEXT

when suddenly my former haywood st
storefront became available last fall,
the idea of doing an ever-changing space
started forming in my mind.
defined somewhere between gallery
and whim, CONTEXT has come to life.

for now the space will serve as an extension
of CONSTANCE BOUTIQUE, the mother store.
so daily i am running down and grabbing merchandise that tempts me and hopefully , you too?
i'm currently addicted to velvet's long cotton tanks for layering under everything and also loving the fit of all james' aged denim skinny jeans.

then,
whenever the muses rouse
it will feature my own designs.
ever in search of the perfect dress
and pillows, i'm stacking my fabric stash
on the shelves of the back studio
where they await transformation.

ensconsed by many talented friends
i envision the space hosting any number
of shows featuring their work as well.
oh.....did you get to our first event featuring
five local silversmiths? bling beautful.

as ever....thank you for your support and
enthusiasm....(i always need it)
